International Ministry

The International ministry at Westgate is a community for international students in the Twin Cities that discover God and grow in the love of Jesus through sharing lives with one another.

Make Twin Cities feel at home.

Originally started by church volunteers reaching out to Chinese international students in 2008, Westgate International ministry now serves international students of all nations in the Twin Cities.

How can I get involved?

  • International students and families

If you are an international student looking for a faith community to answer faith questions and share your lives with other believers, we would love to have you join our large group meeting on Sundays or weekly small groups.

  • American friends

If you are a local believer looking for cross-cultural opportunities to build friendships or serve God through local outreach, we would love to have you join this warm family! We are always looking for volunteers who can befriend or mentor international students, offer rides to church or participating in events that we organize.

Get in touch.

Once an international student myself, I understand the unique challenges of leaving family and friends to begin a new journey in a foreign country. God put many loving people in my journey in America, and now I am blessed to be a resource and help to those who share a similar story as mine.
