Membership & Baptism

Membership

At Westgate, we consider ourselves a church family, united in love, support, and shared purpose. Everyone who engages in our community is part of this family, whether or not they’re formal members. Membership, however, reflects a deeper commitment—members often lead in serving, giving, praying, and help make key church decisions. If Westgate feels like home to you, we invite you to take the next step and get involved!
“The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 12:12

Baptism

At Westgate, we seek to live in a space where baptism is emphasized as an important and meaningful step of faith for those who have become followers of Jesus. Jesus invites people to follow Him and trust Him as their hope and salvation—and that changes everything. Baptism is a powerful symbol of that inner transformation, and we’d love to talk more if you have questions about getting baptized.
Acts 2:38 says, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
